2023 Winner of the Leo and Vivian Dance Scholarship

We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Isabae Alston, recipient of the Leo and Vivian Broks Dance Scholarship for 2023.

Isabae’s dedication, passion, and exceptional talent have truly set her apart. This scholarship represents not only our recognition of her remarkable dance skills but also our belief in her potential to excel further.

The scholarship is going to help Isabae pay for Harbour Dance Centre’s 10 month training program in Vancouver, BC.  “Dance is, and has been my life for many years and I want it to be part of my life for many more” said Isabae.

Isabae’s journey to Vancouver promises exciting opportunities for growth and artistic development. Vancouver’s dance community is known for its diversity and creativity, and we have no doubt that she will thrive and make a significant impact.

Once again, congratulations on this well-deserved scholarship! We couldn’t be more thrilled for Isabae and can’t wait to see the incredible dancer she’ll become.

2022 Winner of the Leo and Vivian Dance Scholarship

Congratulations to Aidan Muth, recipient of the Leo and Vivian Broks Dance Scholarship for 2022.

Judges Comments:

We were really pleased with the fact that Aidan stuck in there during the Pandemic and kept up dancing and training until he was able to pursue his passion.  His reference letter from Cathy Allen spoke volumes.  He is a little older and more mature and will be training in Vancouver at Dance Harbour which is a fabulous Canadian Training Opportunity to help dancers pursue their dance careers. This year we would like to see the Leo & Vivian Broks Scholarship be awarded to Aidan Muth.

2020 Winner of the Leo and Vivian Dance Scholarship

Congratulations to Abby Van Twuyver, recipient of the Leo and Vivian Broks Dance Scholarship for 2020. Abby will be furthering her dance studies at the Harbour Dance Centre in Vancouver and we wish her all the best in her chosen career.
