Congratulations to Samantha Wiltzen recipient of the Iris Evans Performing Arts Dance Scholarship for 2022.
Samantha has participated in the Visionary College of Performing Arts Future’s Fest Competition for the past few years, and won Best Country Vocalist for both 2020 and 2021 in her age category. Other past awards have included the Sherwood Park Music Fe
stival, 2019, Best Overall Performance Senior Popular Vocals, and I she also had the honour to open the show for the Grand Concert and Awards Ceremony as well; 2019 Future’s Fest Overall Singer/Songwriter Winner, and 2017 Overall Vocal Winner; 2019 Ukrainian Village Kalyna Idol Second Place Senior Vocal Winner, 2018 First Place Duet Winner, and 2015 First Place Youth Vocal Winner; 2018 Voice of the Ocean Winner on Princess Cruise lines.
Samantha is also proud to have been a finalist at Big Valley Jamboree on the Home Grown Talent Stage in
the senior category in 2019, as well as a finalist in the youth category in 2014.
Samantha plans to use the scholarship funds to record her original music, and promote her talent via social media.
